Perfect pub in the neighbourhood. Their food is the top, the taste is always consistently good. The portion is generous too. No reason why you shouldn’t go back every other week!
Atmosphere is also cosy and adorable.
Very busy most times. Not the coziest pub though. High ceiling, over-sized bar smacked in the middle. Noises seemed to amplified for some reason. Very good pizzas though. Menus are on the board.
We were here 2 days in a row, during a very short visit of London. What a nice and cosy pub. Really can't relate to an earlier review that it is racist, and besides myself I saw many people of different races here, having a great time. Great Sunday roast and live piano music on Sunday. Lovely roasted cod the next day. Very friendly staff and very good cooks indeed.
Decent pub, kind of expensive drinks I will say probably upwards £10 for two pints but what can you expect from London 🤷♀️.
The food was good, £9-11.50 for a pizza, and I believe the kitchen usually opens at 6 in the evening? Not sure about the morning however.
This pub as a good beer garden and the staff are usually very nice aswell! Also has a constant vibrate, chill atmosphere, and cool decor.
Would recommend for a quick drink or bite to eat.
Went in on Saturday before the Arsenal v sheffield United game. Good atmosphere, had lovely pizzas freshly made. Easy walk to emirates after. Only issue was the ‘No cash’ rule. You cannot allow cash to die out, so please accept ‘cold hard cash’, us northerners still love it
So gutted to write this. The pub is brilliant. The food is divine. The drinks? Superb. The staff? Well that’s where I feel compelled to write. I never write. Sometimes phenomenal, sometimes good, but when they’re bad? They’re terrible. Tonight was that. The two young women working behind the bar, particularly the younger, acted with the most flippant, fatuous, surly attitudes. I can’t even say our party was even angry, more shocked and disappointed. Hopefully it’s just down to a bad day but the prevailing feeling we sensed was of anger at having to perform minor tasks and contempt for the customers coming. Looking forward to a day at Stanley without feeling that out presence isn’t inconveniencing the staff.
Racist establishment, disgusting attitudes from all the staff. Sat down for 20 mins … not one person offered a menu? General air of feeling unwelcome. Don’t go here
Really good pub food, everything much better than you have any right to expect in a place like this. Slightly marred by rather surly service, combined with it's no bookings policy.
